About UQPWC

The University of Queensland Powerlifting and Weightlifting Club is adjacent to the University of Queensland, St Lucia. We are a group of experienced and qualified powerlifting coaches, lifters and athletes who support and train novices to experienced lifters. For information about training fees and training times visit our Frequently Asked Questions page (click "Read More" below and then click here). Whether your goals are to compete in powerlifting competitions, gain or lose body mass, get stronger or train because you enjoy lifting weight, come to our gym and check out our facilities. We have squat racks, bench press, dumbbells and Olympic bars and weights. (We no longer offer weightlifting facilities as the floor construction is not suitable for dropping weights).
