World Record Deadlift at IPF World Masters Powerlifting Championships

UQPWC lifter Helen Trenerry achieved a goal, which many lifters can only dream of. The Masters II lifter achieved a World Record of 183kg in the Women's 57kg division at the International Powerlifting Federation 26th Women's and 34th Men's World Masters Powerlifting Championships (02 October to 07 October 2017) in Sundsvall, Sweden. Overall Helen totaled 360.5kg with a squat 110kg, benchpress 67.5kg and deadlift 183kg. Congratulations once again Helen on your achievement.

A strong team of two from The University of Queensland's UQ Powerlifting and Weightlifting Club recently returned from the 2016 University Games, in Belarus.
