The belt squat trains the quadriceps and hamstrings similarly to a back squat, yet with much less stress on the lower back and trunk. Belt squats come in various designs, ranging from simple lever arms (ATX) to weight stack pulley systems.  At UQPWC we use the belt squat machine to add variation to our training programs and not only build stronger legs, but also stronger back, biceps  and a lot more !
