2017 UQ Challenge 26 February

UQPWC has been running competitions on behalf of Powerlifting Australia for over 20 years.  This would not have been possible if it weren’t for the dedication of our members, other volunteers including officials.

There was a great turnout to the first competition of 2017, the UQ Challenge.  Following feedback from Powerlifting Australia we reconfigured the lifting platform and competition area to improve the functionality and management of the competition. In addition we introduced for the first time in Australia, a live video feed to the warm up so that the competitors and coaches can not only see the lifting order, but also a real time “Chief Referee’s” view of the lifting platform.
